Tell us a little about you
I currently live in Essex with my husband, Mark, and our two small children, ages 5 and 2. We live right by the River, and living by the water offers a lovely balance to a busy family and working life.

Where did your career start, and how did it evolve to where you are now?
I have worked in a Senior Executive Support/Office Management role for around 15 years, gaining much of my most valuable experience at blue-chip firms in central London with high-profile clients. Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed the variety that comes with being a trusted EA. No two days are ever the same. One day I might be organising a large-scale event for hundreds of people, and the next I could be onboarding new starters, which keeps the role dynamic and rewarding.
What do you enjoy about recruitment?
I really enjoy the energy and buzz of working alongside such a strong team of consultants. There is a genuine sense of collaboration, where every success is celebrated and supported, which creates a very positive and motivating working environment.
What do you enjoy about working in the animal-related industries?
It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a company that genuinely cares about animal welfare. I’m particularly excited about our partnership with Nature’s SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction), as it’s inspiring to support an organisation that is making such an important and meaningful impact.

What do you look for in a candidate?
I would look for candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for the role, as well as sincerity and honesty. I also believe it’s important for individuals to let their personality shine through, as this helps create authentic and successful working relationships.
What is the one thing you think every CV should have?
Clear and concise formatting is essential. Using well-structured bullet points ensures a CV is easy to read and allows employers to quickly understand key skills, experience, and achievements.
What is your top career advice?
Be yourself, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and always let your personality shine through. Confidence, curiosity, and authenticity can make a real difference at any stage of your career.
